Dear FoX Network Participants,
What has taken place on July 15 and in its aftermath, led to questions in all of our minds.
In order to bring clarity to this, as networks in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir, we have convened and decided on the following points:
The principles of Freedom of Expression Network of Turkey are the following:
1- This undertaking has no central decision making body.
2- Everyone who wishes to can submit a proposal. If 5 people from the same city agree to it, the proposal becomes an ACTION.
3- Everyone can join the action they wish and take its legal responsibility. The idea of "all or nothing" does not apply.
4- All these tasks are carried out on our website.
We will be suspending Black Mondays for the duration of the state of emergency. Black Monday is only one type of actions we take, and the other modes of action such as trial follow-ups, prison visits, assemblies and declarations will continue. You may submit your proposals for these modes of action on our website.
