A poster was hung on the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Provincial Building in Eskişehir with the writing, “The interest holder will win, the nation will pay. Tax on bread, guaranteed interest in dollars for interest holders” in response to the recent exchange-protected Turkish Lira deposit account application. The poster was removed by the police upon Governorate decree.
